Shell Cove House
A clifftop Manly residence with one of Sydney’s most extraordinary outlooks - Shelly Beach and open ocean visible from almost every room. The architecture sets up a constant dialogue between the raw and the refined, with roughcut sandstone walls, a sculptural concrete stair, and a dramatically lit dark marble powder room among the standout spaces to shoot. The challenge and the pleasure of this project was honouring both the interior detail and the view beyond - finding the moments where the two feel inseparable, from a freestanding bath framed by open water to the living room dissolving into the horizon at golden hour.
