Collaroy House
A 1970s Chatswood home transformed into a minimalist retreat - originally extended in the 90s and now completely reimagined for the owners who have lived here for 30 years. The design is defined by a commitment to natural materials and tranquillity: Venetian plaster walls in muted earthy tones, white-washed timber floors, and Volakas marble used dramatically across the kitchen island and benchtops. The shoot focused on capturing that tonal and textural restraint - the way the plaster walls shift in quality across the day, the interiors opening fully to the tree canopy beyond through full-height pivot doors, and the canopy-level bedroom that feels suspended in the surrounding greenery.
