Chambered Nautilus

A substantial new build overlooking Sugarloaf Bay on Sydney’s lower north shore. This project takes its cues from the nautilus shell, expressed through a series of continuous, curving forms that define the interior. Refined materials contrast with the building’s raw outer shell, creating a balance between precision and tactility. Photographed over several days, the changing weather became part of the narrative - soft light, passing clouds and shifting tones adding mood and drama.
